GAUNTLET MILSIM OPERATIONAL ORDERS

Welcome to THE GAUNTLET MILSIM, a 24-hour immersive military simulation event built for airsofters by airsofters.
To ensure safety, fairness, and realism throughout the operation, all participants must adhere to the following event rules.

GAUNTLET RULESET v1

Rules of Engagement (ROE)
  1. Rifles & LMGs: max 1.9 J.
  2. Snipers / BASR: max 2.8 J.
  3. Pyrotechnics, hand grenades, flashbangs, and drones are NOT allowed.
  4. Blind firing is prohibited.
  5. Strictly Semi only (immediate expulsion to violators)
  6. Only LMG’s are allowed to fire full auto.
  7. Joule limit is firm failure to abide the max joule limit will not be allowed in the game.
  8. Exceeding joule during spot chrono will be immediately thrown out of the game without refund.
  1. Eye protection & mouth guards required at all times. Eye protection must be ANSI impact-rated.
  2. Mesh goggles allowed at your own risk.
  3. Participants are responsible for their own PPE. Wear proper footwear and clothing for the terrain.
  4. Call an admin immediately for unsafe situations.
  5. In case of emergency: use the whistle included in the player kit. When whistle sounds — stop playing, remain in place, and wait for admin instructions.
  6. All persons in the AO (players, observers, non-player personnel) must sign a waiver.
  7. Minors must be accompanied by a guardian.

All BBs supplied by event organizers. Do not bring your own BBs. (Exception: BASR/sniper may bring their chosen bag up to 0.48 g max.)

Ammo limits:
– Rifles & pistols: 500 rounds.
– LMGs: 1000 rounds.
– BASR / Sniper: 1 bag (player choice), max .48 g. BASR/snipers are advised to carry a secondary for close-range engagements.

Reason: introduces military-style supply chain/logistics to the game.

Medic system: “2 buddy aids” using the customized arm strap in the kit.

·         When buddy-aid applied, strap goes on the injured player’s arm.

·         After two buddy-aids, the 3rd heal must be performed by the designated squad medic who places the red strap on the wrist.

·         Each squad will have a designated medic.

If the 3rd  heal is already applied and you’ve been shot again, wait for 10mins bleed out and respawn at the base. if an enemy faction ask for your QR code while you’re still in bleed out, you are required to be scanned and go back to your base and respawn.

Wounded (Non-ambulatory) players: may be physically dragged/carried to a medic. Wounded players cannot move on their own. Play the part for immersion.

Person in crossfire: may move away from teammates to avoid direct line of fire — do not move to gain advantage for healing.

If two participants fire simultaneously and both are hit, both are considered dead.

Dead rags are recommended but not mandatory.

  1. Call your own hits. Never call hits on other players.
  2. When hit: sit or kneel, gun pointed upward, and shout “HIT!” loud and raise hand/rag (except for knife kills—see below).
  3. Knife kills: silent tap with a rubber knife only (no slashing). Knife-killed players do not shout “HIT” — they open a blinker only.
  4. Dead players: must remain silent; may only speak with other dead players. Dead players exit to respawn or role.
  5. Gun hits do NOT count as player hits (i.e., weapon damage does not substitute a body hit).
  6. Honor system enforced. Cheating will result in warnings or removal.
  7. All disputes are to be handled respectfully. No verbal altercation and shouting at your opponent
  1. Disrespect to admins or participants are not tolerated. Offenders will be removed from the event without refund.
  2. No trash-talking, physical or mental intimidation, or attempts to cause bodily harm. Offenders will be handed to local law enforcement if necessary.
  3. DUI policy: Participants under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be ejected immediately. Alcohol and illegal substances are not allowed.
  4. Failure to follow rules may result in immediate expulsion without refund.
  1. Once the game has started the gates will be closed and no one is allowed to enter. Insertion of players without the consent of an admin is not allowed.
  2. Barricade manipulation: moving or tampering with barricades / covers is not allowed.
  3. Once inside the game area, players may not return to vehicles (no going in/out for gameplay reasons).
  4. Gun hits do not count as player hits (repeated: full body hits required).
  5. Players encouraged to operate in pairs for low/no-light operations.
  6. All players must wear proper equipment for challenging terrain.

Faction Colors

  • TAN Faction – Players must wear tan, beige, desert, or similar light-shaded camouflage for both helmet/headgear and uniform (upper & lower).
  • OD Faction – Players must wear olive drab, green, woodland, or similar dark-shaded camouflage for both helmet/headgear and uniform (upper & lower).

Camouflage Patterns

  • Any camouflage pattern is allowed as long as it falls within the correct shade range of the faction (tan/light for TAN, green/dark for OD).

Vests & Gear

  • Players may wear any color of vest, plate carrier, chest rig, belt, or gear. These are unrestricted.

Consistency

  • Helmets/headgear, tops, and bottoms must clearly match the chosen faction’s shade to avoid confusion on the field. Mixed-shade uniforms (e.g., tan top with green pants) are not allowed.

Enforcement

  • Players not in proper uniform may be asked to change or will not be allowed to participate until corrected.
                                                                                                                     
                                                                                                                       Uniform rules are about safety, realism, fairness, and organization.

Photographers and content creator must be registered. They must use only civilian clothes
with the vest marked PRESS or MEDIA, and must use a rated protection for the face,
photographers may roam around the AO and cannot be targeted, violators will be warned and
penalized by a points/gold deduction, intentionally shooting a “PRESS” will be thrown out of
the game.

Civilian may roam around the AO and must not carry a weapon. They are allowed to get intel
and sell them in the black market, shooting a civilian is considered a war crime, points/gold
deduction and a warning will be sanctioned to violators, intentionally shooting a civilian will be
thrown out of the game. Civilian must use a rated eye and mouth protection.

  1. BBs & logistics: the supplied BB system is meant to simulate supply constraints — plan your fire discipline.
  2. BASR/sniper players: advised to carry a short-range secondary weapon.
  3. Safety first: if you see an unsafe situation, call an admin immediately.

Violation = expulsion from event (possible involvement of law enforcement for criminal acts).
This is a game of honor — organizers expect honesty and respect.
